Knowing the importance of nitrous oxide gas as a standard anesthetic agent for distinct medical operations, our nitrous oxide plant is manufactured under strict supervision of experienced engineers. There has been a worldwide demand for our N2O plants because they conform to International as well as Indian Pharmacopia standards. We produce our gas in liquid state which is easily filled into the cylinders and can be delivered to the required destinations.

Manufacturing process of N2O
Nitrous Oxide is produced by heating ammonium nitrate at a very high temperature of around 250oC. This leads to a formation of a melted ammonium nitrate which flows in to a combustion chamber where it is decomposed as in the following reaction
NH4NO3 = N2O + 2H2O
We take utmost precaution to handle this reaction because if at any stage the temperature of ammonium nitrate goes beyond a certain point, then this reaction results into different gases. In almost all cases, during the production process, our N2O gas plant is capable to get yield of reaction equal to 95% or even more. However during this process, together with nitrous oxide, some impurities or by products of combustion are formed, like undecomposed ammonium nitrate, with its fumes. The next stage in the production process is the separation of N2O from the impurities. The steam produced during the process is condensed in the primary scrubber. The moisture and traces of ammonium nitrate, carbon dioxide and other oxides of nitrogen are separated in the mist separator.
The remaining gas which contains the nitrous oxide gas is then stored in the gas balloon, which is compressed, dried and refrigerate. The gas is transformed into liquid N2O , which is stored in high-pressure storage vessel. This is then transferred into cylinders and the gas is filled by weight. Every stage of the manufacturing process is constantly under the surveillance of our experts. We examine each batch in our in-house laboratory to ensure quality of the product and for this we maintain a proper record.
We design our plant in such a way that it gives maximum yield of nitrous oxide gas. Our N2O gas plants eliminate acidic, basic and other impurities, which are carefully washed in the solutions of caustic soda, acid and other chemicals. The resulting product is 99.9% pure N2O gas, which conforms to European standard of purity.

Salient features of our N2O Plants
- Cylinder Testing Station: We can provide a cylinder
testing station to our clients for testing cylinders. Similarly, we
can also provide a vacuum pump to evacuate the cylinders so that the
entire N2O can be emptied leaving behind the left over
impure nitrous oxide if any.
- Batch Testing Lab: A small laboratory is always a part
of our plant to maintain complete analysis of the gas produced . The
testing lab is automatic and requires only two persons to operate
per shift besides a chemist.
- Complete Back up and Support: We provide complete after
sales services as well. We not only install the plant but also give
training to your people so that they can run the plant
independently. At any point of time if our customers are facing
problems in operating the plant, we are always there to help.
- Asian Concept in Plant Designing: Considering the fact
that industrial conditions are different in different continents, we
try to deign our nitrous oxide plants as per prevailing Asian
preconditions. We offer designs which are modular, affordable and
easily maintained.
- Extra Precaution to Safety in Plant Layout: There is lot of space in our plant layout and floor plan so that this space is utilized by our workers , giving them a chance to move freely during plant operation, which is a must with a gas like N2O.
