Why is a DM system needed?
One of the most naturally available elements on earth is water. However, it is also one of the most contaminated element as a number of minerals dissolve into water. That is why DM water systems is needed so that the impurities are removed from the raw water, before it can be used for any industrial applications.


The process
A demineralizer (DM) systems uses an ion-exchanges process to remove these minerals from the water. The process first exchanges the cations of the salts for hydrogen ions. This is followed by exchange of the anions of the salts for the hydroxyl ions
