Types of Air Dryers
- Heatless Type Air/ Gas Dryers
- Heat Regenerated Type Dryers
- Refrigerated Air Dryers
- Skid Mounted Compressed Air System.
The working of this drier is based on "Pressure swing absorption". The dryer is very compact and very easy for operation and maintenance. The operation is simple and fully automatic. It is through absorption that the moisture from compressed air/ gas is removed. Two drying towers are provided. While in one chamber drying of air is in process, the other gets re-generated by de-pressurization. Regeneration takes place using a small portion of the dried air. This dried air flushes out the moisture from the adsorption media. We also provide with slide piston valve, pneumatic diaphragm for complete automatic change over.
Moisture level 80 ppm (dew point - 40oC) or less can be achieved.
Heat Regenerated Type Dryers
Here external heat is used for regeneration of the adsorbent. The different types of heat generated type drier are as follows:
- Internal heaters type: The electric heaters are embedded
in the drying towers. The adsorption media is heated upto the
required degree and the absorbed moisture is then flushed out.
- Blower heat regenerated: Here the compressed air which is
to be washed in regeneration can be saved. A blower provides the
atmospheric air which is passed through the drying tower from where
it takes away all the moisture.
- No purge loss split flow type: The compressed air/ gas is
split at the inlet through differential valve. Part of the steam is
passed through an external heater and then the tower regeneration.
The absorbed moisture passes through a cooler where it is condensed
and separated.
- Heat of compression type: Here hot compressed air from compressor is passed through the drying tower to be regenerated. There is no need to use the heater. There is considerable power saving in this type of dryer. Dew point unto - 50 deg C. can be attained.
Refrigerated air dryers is the most commonly used compressed air dryers. It is extensively used for the drying of plant air and other utility gases. The moisture present in the compressed air dryers is condensed by chilling and the condensed moistures is separated by efficients filters. The dew point is 23 degree C but the running cost is very low. The power consumption is reduced by upto 10% over regular refrigerated air dryers system. Moreover, the advance design removes moisture dirt and oil contamination and ensures maximum protection for pneumatic compressed air equipment at all times.
Skid mounted compressed air system
We offer Dry Air Plant in which assembly is completely mounted on a common skid. This system is complete with water cooler, air receiver, and Heatless Air dryer. The system is easy to install and requires power connection, water connection and air inlet/outlet connection.
