The working of heatless type air dryers is based upon the principle of Pressure swing absorption and the operation is simple and fully automatic. The moisture is removed by absorption from compressed air. Two drying towers are supplied which keep on exchanging their place agreeing to the designed cycle. While drying of air is in operation in one chamber, the other chamber gets re-generated by de-pressurization and using a small percentage of the dried air. This dried air kicks out the moisture from the surface assimilation media, adsorbed in former round. Slide piston valve, pneumatic diaphragm functioned eject valves are provided for thoroughgoing reflex change over. These heatless gas dryers is very compress and very comfortable for maintenance and operation.
Heat Regenerated Type Dryers
In heat generated type air dryers, regeneration of the adsorbent is done by external heat. Various dryers we provide are classified under the following heads :-
- No Purge Loss Split Fow Type: Part of the stream is
passed through an external heater and then the tower regenerates
where it contains the captive moisture and then made to pass through
a cooler where the absorbed moisture is concentrated and extractor.
The wet compressed air/ gas is split at the inlet through
differential valve.
- Internal Heaters Type: The electric heaters are implanted
in the drying towers which heat up adsorption sensitives to required
degree and the absorbed moisture is then blushed out with the help
of a very small quantity of dried air/ gas.
- Heat of Compression Type : In heat of compression dryer,
hot compacted air from mechanical device is directly passed through
the drying tower to be generate heat and therefore the use of heater
is annihilated. There is significant power saving in this type of
dryer and dew point unto 50 deg C. can be reached. However, a
small capacitance electric heater is supplied in the incoming hot
air line which takes care of the lower temperature of the hot air
due to any cause.
- Blower Heat Regenerated: Blower heat regenerated dryer can save compressed air which is to be washed in regeneration. A blower allows for the atmospheric air which is fired up in an external heater and is passed through the drying tower from where it takes away all the wet particles.
Refrigerated air dryer is the most ordinarily applied compressed air dryer for almost all industrial applications. It is extensively used for the drying of plant air and other utility gases like hydrogen gas, nitrogen drying etc. In this type of dryers, the moisture present in the compressed air/gas is contracted by cooling it down from 0 to 4 degree C by the use of effective infrigidation oscillation and the condensed moisture is classified by effluent filters. The dew point is 23 degree C at atmospheric pressure but the running cost is negligible.

Skid Mounted Compressed Air System
SSGLA offers Dry Air Plant in which complete fabrication is mounted on a common slide. This system is provided with air receiver, water cooled after cooler and heatless air dryer. The system is set up for establishment and demands water connection, power connection and air inlet/outlet connection.
